Community Centres

The introduction of Wireless Internet access in community spaces offers enormous flexibility to the managers of these facilities. Firstly it allows areas of the building to be used for computer training and web access where wiring or fixed machines are not accessible. Secondly it allows those that wish to bring in their own laptops to do so and offers opportunities to generate additional income for the building.

John Houlihan, building Manager of the Award winning Living Space on Millennium Green by Waterloo said "The introduction of the RegenerateIT wireless solution to complement our wired cyber cafe machines has run without a hitch and allowed larger areas of the building to be used by the community bring in their machines. This has generated us additional income from our computer equipment, allowed us to tackle a wider range of visitor with other services we offer and led to more money being spent in our cafe." "We were highly commended, coming top six in Yahoos Best Cyber cafe in the UK 2004 competition" he added.
